Every Giggly Ducks story is created to help children understand that emotions are not something to hide from, they are messages, guides, and a natural part of being human. By helping children understand their feelings early in life, we hope to give them a quiet inner strength they can carry with them forever.
Kindness has always been something I’ve tried to live by. But as I grew older, I began noticing something that deeply stayed with me. In such a fast and demanding world, kindness is often overlooked, muted, or even seen as weakness instead of something precious that should be protected and valued.
After becoming a mother of two, those feelings became even stronger.
I experienced the beauty of motherhood, but also the challenges that many families quietly face - outside pressures, differing opinions, and a world that often forgets to see children through the eyes of the child themselves. Every child is unique, with their own temperament, sensitivities, emotional needs, and way of experiencing the world, and some children may naturally need extra closeness, reassurance, and emotional connection as they grow - and when those needs are lovingly met, it can help nurture the inner security and emotional resilience that allows them to grow into strong, compassionate adults.
I also became more aware of how modern life is built in ways that separate young infants from their main caregiver(s) far too early, simply because the cost of living leaves parents with little choice. Childhood has become rushed, and precious time together has become harder to protect.
Through all of this, my heart kept returning to one question:
How can we help children remain deeply connected to love, kindness, emotional safety, and their natural inner light from the very beginning, despite the pressures and disconnection of the modern world?
That question became the beginning of Giggly Ducks.
I created these comforting characters, stories, videos, songs, and heartfelt experiences to gently bring children warmth, emotional safety, imagination, softness, and connection - like a small reminder of the nurturing spirit of Mother Earth and the unconditional love every child deserves to feel.
While Giggly Ducks is designed to feel fun, colourful, playful, and entertaining for children, the deeper purpose behind every story is to quietly tend to their hearts. Beneath the laughter, adventures, music, and lovable characters are messages of kindness, emotional understanding, self-worth, empathy, courage, and love.
I wanted children to feel like they are simply enjoying something magical and joyful, while gently receiving emotional support and meaningful values along the way.
My hope is that through these creations, children can grow up feeling safe enough to feel, express themselves freely, and develop true emotional resilience by understanding themselves and their emotions more deeply, learning that feelings are simply energy in motion, meant to flow through us rather than be feared or hidden.
And above all, I hope they carry kindness proudly into the world and never lose the light they were born with.
Because the children of today become the adults of tomorrow.
And my ultimate dream is to help create a more heart-led future for everyone.
